Student Grievance Cell
Raise any concern about academics, fees, the hostel or campus life, openly or anonymously.
About the cell
Grievances about the hostel, sexual harassment, or discrimination based on religion, caste, race or sex can be discussed with your teacher guardian. Every case will get the attention it needs.
Grievances about administrative delays can be raised with the management executive in the college's administrative office. The cell exists to keep the college a conducive and unprejudiced place to learn.

Something that happened or was done that you believe was unfair.
Doing something to correct a wrong or complaint, or to improve things for the person treated badly.
Objectives
To build a responsive and accountable attitude that keeps the atmosphere in the college harmonious.
- Keep the college free of strife by promoting good student–student and student–teacher relationships.
- Encourage students to express grievances freely and frankly, without fear of being victimised.
- Keep a suggestion and complaint box in front of the Grievance Cell in the Administrative Block, where students can drop grievances and suggestions anonymously.
- Advise students to respect each other's rights and dignity, and to show restraint and patience whenever disagreements arise.
- Advise students not to incite others against fellow students, teachers or the college administration.
- Advise all staff to be caring towards students and never vindictive.
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside and outside the institution. Any ragging or breach of discipline must be reported to the Principal urgently.
What it handles
The cell deals with written grievances from students on:
Certificates and exams
Timely issue of duplicate marksheets, transfer and conduct certificates, and other exam matters.
Dues and payments
Dues and payments for the library, hostels and other services.
Campus conditions
Sanitation, food preparation, transport availability, victimisation by teachers and similar concerns.
How it works
The cell looks into every complaint, judges its merit, and can also look into matters of harassment. It:
- Attends to cases promptly once a written grievance is received.
- Formally reviews all cases and keeps statistical reports of the number received.
- Reports to the authorities on cases handled and any pending cases that need direction from higher authorities.
